MY LA FIESTA REVIEW - DISGUSTING

First of all, guys I'm sorry I wasn't able to post anything for the past week, I've been busy with moving to our new house, with my schoolwork-its finals season, and with everything in general. I actually have 5 posts scheduled to be posted, but there was something wrong with the pictures and I had to discard them and wait until I had the opportunity to use a computer. That said, its time to drag a restaurant to hell.

To my fellow Filipinos, hi, how are you? Kamusta? Today I had the opportunity to eat at La Fiesta located in Mall of Asia, and the service we received was so bad that I just have to write it on my blog. Before I tell you guys the story, if you love your family or friends please don't let them eat at La Fiesta and suffer like we did.

Sorry for the poor quality, I recently just got a new phone and my phone's camera is basically a potato at this point.

Just like what I said in my earlier statements I had the opportunity to eat at La Fiesta, this wasn't my first time eating in La Fiesta and so is my family, we've had our bad experiences with La Fiesta before but we still eat at this wretched disgusting place despite their service. Okay. me, my brother and basically my relatives visited La Fiesta to celebrate my aunt Che [not her real name] return in the Philippines and to have a late birthday party celebration but due to unfortunate reasons my mom and my dad didn't come.

My brother and I carpooled with my aunt, grandma, and uncle. When we arrived, my cousin Dylan [not his real name] and her girlfriend Jazz were already there, along with my cousin Michaela. They already ate so we skipped the greetings and ate with them as well. There wasn't much to this story, but while I was looking for food to eat I realized that some of the food in display, particularly the seafood were fishy and kind of disgusting overall, so I skipped it.

After eating, my aunt Che paid for the meal and that's when the whole debacle started. My cousin Michaela told my aunt Che what happened and realized that there was something wrong with their food.

My cousin Michaela's upper lip was bloated (my camera is shit, so you might not see the difference) and my aunt Che was infuriated that something like this happened because she already made the waitress in trainee aware of the situation. She didn't want anything except for the reassurance that if there were something bad to happen to my cousin there would be compensation. Everything was about to be resolved until this chef came out of his quarters.

This chef was teary-eyed when I took this picture

This chef started to explain that there was nothing wrong with his food, then suddenly he started straying from the subject of compensation and started bragging about his certificate in culinary arts that he obtained in the US, and his supposed job experience being an airplane chef, which is so odd because my aunt Che didn't want anything besides compensation or the reassurance that if something wrong were to happen to my cousin that the restaurant will pay for it. My aunt's blood was boiling at this point because we are no longer focusing on the subject. The chef kept on telling us there isn't anything wrong but even I know there is something wrong with the food.

My grandma and her kids has been selling fish in Mandaluyong's wet market for 46 years

My phone wasn't able to take a clear picture of the seafood, but if you were there in person, you would see the black edges, black streaks, swollen eyes, and flushed out complexion of the fishes in display.

After a heated argument, the chef left and the manager reassured us that there would be compensation if there is something bad to happen to my cousin Michaela.

This is the manager

This wasn't our first time experiencing a shitty service from La Fiesta, my cousin Sofi ate seafood sinigang at this place and got an allergic reaction as well. My dad and my grandma ate crab in La Fiesta and both of them got a fever the day after and had food poisoning. My brother also ate their shawarma and he got diarrhea as well. At this point, I don't even know why my entire family still go to this restaurant when we received nothing but illnesses and rude customer service.

This is the end of my post, again, to my fellow Filipinos please be aware of this review of mine, I don't want anyone of you guys to experience the same shitty experience I had. That's all.
