ARTISTS THAT LAUNCHED THEIR COMPANIES' SUCCESS

I was reading this article about artists' that launched their companies' success and I found it somewhat lacking and disappointing, so I'm writing an article that I think is more long and descriptive. These are the list that I came up with after reading a lot of stories:

RAIN - JYP ENTERTAINMENT

I don't like Rain that much, but I can't deny his success and influence over K-Pop. He is literally the reason why Bambam from GoT7 decided to become a Hangul artist. Also, I've read that during his time in JYP he released a lot of chart topping songs and album.

EXID - BANANA CULTURE

I'm going to be honest with you. One of the reasons why I decided to write this post is because the article I was previously reading did not included EXID and I was pissed. EXID didn't find success faster like other artists, but EXID managed to chart Up and Down to number one on the charts, and this prompted to stop their disbandment and continue being entertainers. Also, EXID manged to make Banana Culture have somewhat success in the industry despite being comparatively new.

BoA - SM ENTERTAINMENT

I didn't know who the Queen of K-Pop is until she sang a song for Fairy Tail's (anime) OST. I didn't even knew she was a Korean and that she was a Korean entertainer.

BTS - BIG HIT ENTERTAINMENT

This is so obvious, I don't even need to explain this.

ASTRO - FANTAGIO ENTERTAINMENT

Before Astro, Fantagio Entertainment was handling Hello Venus-although Hello Venus has potential, they were never became that much popular, unlike Astro who is dubbed as a monster rookie group. Fantagio was able to find success from managing Astro.

GFRIEND - SOURCE MUSIC

There are 3 monster rookie girl groups from the current K-Pop generation: Red Velvet, Blackpink, and TWICE, but people always seems to forget the fourth monster rookie girl group: GFriend. GFriend proved their impact to the industry after winning 30+ music show wins after debuting only for 2 years. Now, that's popularity!

SISTAR - STARSHIP ENTERTAINMENT

Before Starship was able to produce Monsta X and Cosmic Girls, there were Sistar. Sistar along Boyfriend were the only groups from Starship Entertainment that made any impact in the industry, although Boyfriend was somewhat popular, they were no match to Sistar's popularity (a fact about Sistar: all their title track since 2012 reached No. 1 on charts)

INFINITE - WOOLIM ENTERTAINMENT

Can you believe that Woolim Entertainment managed to defeat Cube and JYP in terms of stock in 2012? I mean crazy right? If you were unaware Cube was enjoying Hyuna's popularity from Bubble Pop and Red during that time, and JYP still has Wonder Girls during that time.

BIGBANG - YG ENTERTAINMENT

This one is so obvious just like BTS. Big Bang isn't called kings of K-Pop for nothing you know?
